Entering
How do I enter a tournament?
Create a verified account, open the tournament you want, and use the join button. You accept the rules, upload one photo or video, and it goes into the review queue. Approved entries appear in the public gallery, usually within 12 hours.
Can I enter more than one tournament?
Yes, as many as you like. The limit is one entry per person per tournament, not one across the platform.
Can I change or replace my entry after uploading?
You can replace it while entries are still open, which sends it back through review. Once entries close, the field is locked and nothing can be swapped.
Why was my entry rejected?
The written reason is attached to your entry in your dashboard. Rejections have to cite a rule that was on the tournament page when you entered. If you think it was wrong, reply to it and a second reviewer takes a fresh look.
Can I withdraw my entry?
Any time before standings lock. It disappears from public view immediately and its votes are discarded. After standings lock the result is part of the public record, though the entry itself still comes down on request.
Voting and scoring
Why do I need a verified account to vote?
It is what makes one person equal one vote. Every vote is recorded against your account and counts once per tournament — you can change your mind but you cannot add to it. Unverified clicks are recorded but never reach a score.
Can I vote for my own entry?
No. Self-voting is blocked, and rings of linked accounts voting for each other are detected and stripped before results.
Can I change my vote?
Yes, you can update your rating or toggle your vote on your chosen contestant during the round.
My friends all voted and my score barely moved. Why?
That is the weighting working as designed. Star ratings are pulled toward the field average until an entry has enough of them, vote scores use a confidence bound rather than a raw total, and video scores lean on completion rate. Fair play has the formulas.
Where can I see how a score was calculated?
On the tournament's results page. It shows each entry's final score and the inputs behind it, plus the number of votes removed as fraudulent across the tournament.
Your photos and videos
Who owns my entry?
You do. Entering grants JutuGo a licence to display and promote it. We never sell it, never licence it on, and never put it in paid advertising without asking you first.
Where will my entry appear?
On its tournament page and results page for the round and 30 days after. Beyond that, the top three of every tournament are featured on our social channels, and for video tournaments verified entries can be shared across social platforms. You can opt out of external sharing at upload. Kids tournament entries are never shared externally.
Can I get something taken down?
Yes, at any time, including after a round ends. We remove it from JutuGo and delete our own posts on external platforms. Copies other people have made are outside anyone's control, which is worth knowing before you opt in.
Someone entered a photo of me without asking.
Use the report link on the entry. Entries involving identifiable people who have not consented are removed, and this is treated as a priority report rather than a queued one.
Hosting
How do I host my own tournament?
Create an account, request hosting access from the dashboard, then set up a round: name, category, prize pool and split, judging method and rules. We review the setup, you fund escrow, and it goes live. Details on the For hosts page.
What does hosting cost?
A percentage of the prize pool, quoted before you fund escrow. No listing fee and no per-entry fee.
Can a host influence who wins?
No. Hosts can reject entries at review for breaking a stated rule, with a written reason. They cannot touch scores, change the judging method once entries open, or see standings before the public.
