It's what makes one person equal one vote. Every vote is recorded against your verified account and counts once per entry — you can change your mind, but you can't add to it. Without that rule a single laptop could cast thousands of votes in an evening, and the prize would go to whoever was most determined to cheat rather than whoever made the best entry. Votes from unverified accounts are still recorded, but they never count toward a score. Verification is also how prize money reaches you if you win.
You can, and almost everyone does — it's part of how a tournament spreads. It just matters less than people expect. Star ratings are pulled toward the field average until an entry has enough of them, so thirty friends giving you five stars moves you far less than it looks like it should. Vote-based tournaments score the share of votes you can be confident of holding rather than a raw total, so ninety up against ten down beats nine hundred up against six hundred. And video scores lean heavily on completion rate, which nobody can hand you as a favour. Friends get you seen; they can't get you to the top on their own.
You own it. Entering grants JutuGo a licence to show your entry and use it to promote the platform, and nothing more — we never sell it, licence it on to anyone else, or use it in paid advertising without asking you first.
Where entries appear. Every entry is shown on its tournament page and results page for the length of the round and for 30 days after. On top of that, the top three finishers in every tournament are featured on our social channels, and for video tournaments we share all verified entries across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and similar platforms — that reach is a large part of what your entry gets out of competing. Your name or handle goes with it; your phone number, email and location never do.
Two things to know. Once a post is live on an external platform it follows that platform's own terms, and copies made by other people are outside anyone's control. And this does not apply to the kids tournaments: entries from Kids Talent and Kids Drawing are never posted to external social channels under any circumstances, winners included. You can opt out of external sharing when you upload, or ask us to take a post down at any time.
Standings lock 48 hours after a tournament closes. That window is for disputes and the final fraud sweep, where flagged votes and sessions are stripped and the removed count is published with the results. Once standings are final, prizes transfer to the payout details on your verified account, usually the same day and always within 48 hours of the lock.
Prize money is held in escrow before entries open, so it exists before you enter rather than depending on a host paying up afterwards. If your payout details are missing or fail verification we'll contact you on your account and hold the prize for 90 days.
Only through the Kids Talent Contest and the Kids Drawing Contest, and only through a parent or guardian's verified account. Children don't hold accounts on JutuGo.
Those two tournaments are built differently on purpose. The work is what gets judged, not the child — drawing entries show only the artwork. First names only appear publicly, with no surname, school, location or contact details. Voting is restricted to verified accounts, comments and direct messages are disabled on those entries, and they're never posted to external social platforms. A guardian can withdraw an entry at any time, including after results, and it disappears from public view immediately. Every other tournament on the platform is 18 and over.
Hosts never touch the result. They can reject an entry at review for breaking a stated rule, and that rejection comes with a written reason you can appeal to us. That's the whole of their power over standings.
They cannot adjust scores, add or remove votes, change the judging method once entries are open, or see who is winning before the public leaderboard does. The scoring runs on our side, the weights are fixed and published before the tournament opens, and the inputs behind every final score are visible on the results page. A host who wants their friend to win has to convince the same people everyone else does.
